"This
year I was fortunate to travel to China and experience trekking along
the great wall and surrounding country side. The entire event was
well organized from start to the finish which made the entire trip a
life experience I will never forget. The sense of achievement I
experienced was only overshadowed by the people I met, a truly
remarkable crowd of individuals both from the participation side and
organizational side. Royce, who worked for Small Steps was one such
individual. He went out of his way to ensure our extended trip to
Xian went as smoothly as possible, really putting in a lot of time
and effort on our behalf. One day soon I hope to return to China and
when I do I will be contacting Royce and his team once again to

Great Wall Trek was an amazing experience and it was always so
reassuring to know that however difficult the day's trekking had
been, there would always be the Smallsteps team to welcome us back at
camp with wonderful food and to know our night's accommodation was
ready and waiting. Also the reassurance of fresh water at every stop
was such a bonus. The Guides were brilliant and although they pushed
us, they also gave us the confidence to carry on. It was an
