ADVEN
TURES
Our China adventures are designed to be physically challenging.
However, most anyone with a reasonable level of fitness and pre-adventure training
preparation, should be able to do it (we have had several clients in their 70s complete
the Great Wall 6-day trek). Participants will be trekking or cycling 6-8 hours each day, over hilly terrain.
preparation, should be able to do it (we have had several clients in their 70s complete

The rewards are great: spectacular scenery, a rare insight into rural Chinese life and positive feelings of self achievement.
Difficulty Level
Our adventures are of a moderate difficulty level.
Cyclists will cover distances between 70km and 90km a day, depending on terrain.
The trekkers will face some scrambling over broken uneven ground and some steep climbs.
Those with a fear of heights may find it challenging in some places.
You should be able to carry a light pack (8kg - 10kg/17lb - 22lb) and be capable of moving for several hours at a stretch with short stops every hour.Participants who have had some backpacking, cycling or trekking experience, as well as those who have a relatively good level of fitness, will benefit greatly.
We recommend pre-adventure training such as; regular walking on hills and gym work to develop strength, light running, swimming and biking.
