Dalida Turkovic
Dalida has lived and worked in China since 1990. In 1995 she started to work with various multinational companies in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan delivering Vision, values & goals, leadership and team building programs. During this time she gained insight into organizational, leadership- and team-issues that corporations face in a fast changing environment.In 2002 Dalida founded Small Steps (China) Ltd. with the initial aim of implementing her corporate sector experience in facilitating change for non-profit organizations in Asia. From then on she has worked as a coach, consultant and facilitator with numerous ngo's.
She has been highly involved in all of Small Steps Adventure projects
Dalida currently holds certifications as a NLP Master Practitioner, Master Coach, EQ Coach and EQ Trainer.
Peter Strijdonk
Peter started his professional career in Egypt, where he worked as a cultural tours guide and prospector for several tour operators.
After locating to Holland he switched careers and worked as a cross-cultural trainer and group coach.
Later on he specialized in educational management, leading a training and assessment center and finally a development and support center for adult education in Belgium.
In 2008 he moved to China to join Small Steps (China)ltd. as a partner and as a coach.
Peter is a international Coach Academy graduate, a certified NLP Master Practitioner and a certified trainer.
He holds a MA in Eastern Philology and a post-grad in International development from University of Ghent (Belgium), and graduated in Business Administration at the Higher economic School of Rotterdam (The Netherlands).
Royce Derbyshire
He has lived and/or worked in New Zealand, Australia, China, Mongolia and Korea.
Cui Feng Rui (Laocui)

Laocui spent many years working as a barefoot doctor or medicine man. He knows many Chinese home remedies and cures for various illnesses. Being a local of the Jinshanling area, Laocui knows Secret paths and trails of the area. He was Employed by the State to supervise the Reconstruction of the Jinshanling Great Wall section from 1984-1988.
He was also responsible for the culture preservation of the Wall and still has cultural preservation duties to attend to. His first expedition on the Great Wall was in December 1999 when he led an 8-man group from Gubeikou to the Bailingguan Pass.
Since then Laocui has led numerous charity expeditions and hikes for Small Steps. Lao Cui's knowledge of the Wall is not limited to construction, he knows lots of stories and legends and loves talking about the history of the Wall.
Li Xiaolong (Bruce Li)
The winters at the Great Wall are not good for trekking, which is a passion for Bruce, so he decided to find winter work in one of his hobbies, skiing. He has been employed as a ski instructor since 2002 in a ski resort in Miyun. Bruce joined Small Steps in 2002.
His duties include local logistics, trek route maintenance and he is a support guide on treks.
Wilson Chik
Born in Hong Kong and having lived in Singapore and the USA, Wilson Chik came back full circle to Hong Kong in 1992. In his formal studies, he immersed himself in the world of biochemistry and bio-inorganic chemistry. After that, Wilson emerged to explore fitness, the body mind connection and authentic movement. Over the last 18 years, Wilson was an educator, a facilitators as well as a global master trainer traveling around the world presenting in international conferences. His wish today is to promote flexibility in the mind and to share the innate wisdom of the body through conscious exercise, outdoor adventures and playful interaction.Another passion of Wilson's is in the expressive arts. He learned the movement art of Butoh from his late mentor Akiko Motofuji. Splicing this Japanese philosophy of dance with theatre, Wilson uses the art of storytelling to share with audiences both ancient and modern day mythologies. In 2001, he was one of the co-founders of artjamming and published a book on the phenomenon of freestyle group painting and the joy of creativity. Now, he helps 'people feel good in their bodies' through fashion, visual arts and creative community projects.
